Github Research Rs Configuration

add deps with `cargo add <dep>`; remove deps with `cargo remove <dep>`.

- run tests with `cargo nextest run`
- do not use `mod.rs` files; use modern module organization

- use tracing liberally for debugging; also feel free to run RUST_LOG=debug cargo run/test/etc
  - use a lot of `info!` / `warn!` / `error!` / `debug!` / `trace!` and `#[instrument]`


Limit nesting with modern rust:
Instead of 
if let Some(x) = foo {
    // inner code
}

DO THIS:
let Some(x) = foo else {
    bail!("foo is None"); // or whatever way to early return
};

// inner code




After every change run `cargo clippy`

Use eyre for error handling.
