# VRChat MCP This project is developing a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that can retrieve information from the VRChat API. The implementation is based on https://github.com/GLips/Figma-Context-MCP. ## About the User The user is a frontend engineer. They can code better than you, but due to time constraints, they are asking for your help. So let's think and create together. ## Development Approach - Be sure to read the README - It contains features and implementation methods that we want to support in the future. - If you are given a link to documentation, be sure to read it using the browser action. - If possible, write tests before implementation. Use them to verify the specifications. - Since this is an OSS project, all documentation including README should be written in English. - When implementing new tools: - Update the package version (minor version for new features) - Update README.md, README.ja.md, and README.ko.md to reflect the new supported features - Update version in both package.json and src/main.ts to match the new version ## Reference Information for Implementation - VRChat SDK: https://github.com/vrchatapi/vrchatapi-javascript?tab=readme-ov-file - VRChat API Documentation: https://vrchatapi.github.io/docs/api/ - modelcontextprotocol/sdk: https://github.com/modelcontextprotocol/typescript-sdk ## VRChat Tag Specifications Tags in VRChat are used to grant access, assign restrictions, or attach metadata to various objects such as worlds, users, and avatars. Here are the key specifications: ### Tag Format - Tags are simple strings grouped in a string array - Tags are commonly prefixed with a namespace designating the type of tag - Format: `namespace_type:value` ### Tag Types 1. Admin Tags - Start with `admin_` - Assigned manually by staff members - Example: `admin_moderator` 2. System Tags - Start with `system_` - Automatically assigned by the system - Example: `system_trust_basic` ### Tag Usage - Tags can be used to: - Grant access to features - Assign restrictions - Add metadata to objects - Define user roles and permissions - Mark system status and properties ### Implementation Notes - When working with tags, always validate the tag format - Consider tag namespaces when implementing tag-related features - Handle both admin and system tags appropriately - Be aware that some tags may affect user permissions and access levels
AppMCP Project Intelligence
This is AppMCP - a Swift Package that implements a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server for macOS GUI automation. The project enables AI systems to see, understand, and control macOS applications through standardized MCP resources and tools.
