--- description: Product scope and journey priorities for Delhi Metro Simple alwaysApply: true --- # Product Build a free, ad-free, mobile-first PWA. Working name: Delhi Metro Simple. It is an independent app, with no official DMRC affiliation. The interface is English only. Do not add Hindi chrome, theme names, a language control, or Hindi strings in `src/i18n/`. Leave `data/hi/` and the download scripts on this machine. The app does not load them. The home task is: choose origin, choose destination, show one readable route. Answer which train, where to change, and the fare when the payload includes one. Primary destinations are Plan, Map, City, Saved, Play, and Help. Navigation is a compact top bar with an icon and a text label, so it does not cover the page. Wide screens use two panes: controls on the left, the route or the line on the right. Out of v1: accounts, payments, ticket sales, ads, analytics, chatbots, social feeds, and mandatory install, onboarding, or location permission. Location is requested only after “Use my location.” Saved trips stay on the device. Share links use station codes, not precise location. Follow `docs/DMRC_API.md` for upstream calls. Follow `docs/DECISIONS.md` for defaults already made. Files that stay on this machine and out of git are listed in the local-files rule. Do not delete them, and do not add them to a commit. Do not push or open a pull request until the user has verified the change locally and said to deploy. A nit that cannot change the site stays local until the next product change. Follow the deployment rule. Commits use `type(scope): description`. `type` is `feat`, `fix`, `docs`, `test`, `refactor`, or `chore`. `scope` is the area that changed, such as `plan`, `map`, `city`, `offline`, `deploy`, `data`, or `docs`. The description is the change itself, in lowercase, with no period. One commit is one change. Do not use a label that does not name the work.
